The other evening me and the kids went for a walk down to the ball fields. We flew a kite and blew lots of dandelions. My kids call them, "wish blossoms." I asked, "What are you wishing for?" Here's a sampling of what they said:
- I wish people didn't kill.
- I wish I could get everything I want out of a catalogue.
- I wish Mommy would do whatever I say.
- I wish Muslims would live in peace with everybody.
- I wish the law would let us be in charge of parents.
What are you wishing for today?
