We had a good Mother' Day at our house yesterday. My wife made a nice chicken dinner, with her mom and 2 of our nieces as guests.I did something different for my Mother's Day sermon. Instead of expositing a passage, I used a variety of Scriptures to span a mother's life from beginning to end.
During the Sunday School hour, a friend overheard a conversation going on in the 3-4-5 grade classroom.
The teacher asked, "Who was the very first mother?"
A student replied, "Mother nature!"
